Thanks for the comment Denise. Yes, all those chemicals we use on our gardens are not good for the environment and our plants as well.

There are lots of things we can do to go green and that includes gardening. Your article about going green in the garden with compost was excellent!

When I stopped using any chemicals in my yard I found the yard and garden areas were healthier and had less bugs.

It took a few years of figuring out what plants to plant next to each other and encouraging birds in the backyard but “going organic” was the best, and in the long run the easier way to garden for me.
