Winter Jewel grows well in planting zones 4-8 here in the US but not knowing the zone for your area, I am not sure if it can be grown in Nova Scotia.

You can check Breck&#039;s, which is a reputable company that I use and see if they can give you more information on this. I know that Breck&#039;s has helleborus that thrives in zones 4-9 but can survive in zone 3.
