It's Dec. 12, 2010 and my blooms have wilted. I had one good flower for about 2 weeks. Two flowers tried to bloom but wilted before it ever bloomed. I have it in well lit area. I cut the wilted flowers off. My question is this, will it bloom again or is that all I get even when I replant it in the spring when the scare of frost is over. I feel that I have a brown thumb instead of a green one. I make sure the soil is moist but not wet. I really want more blooms.

Thanks for the comment Denise! I love Amaryllis as well because they are beautiful flowers and easy to grow indoors for winter beauty.

Amaryllis are one of my favorite plants. They add such color, particularly in the winter months. Great article!
